We've already discussed what supplements are when training. If you have not read, then I invite you to read in the Supplements tab you will find the article "Supplements - what are they?" Now I will tell you how they are divided and who they are for. I am not extending it anymore and will immediately get to the heart of the matter. The term supplements means supplementing the daily diet with the missing ingredients. However, during training and a balanced diet, when we talk about supplements, we mean muscle building or weight loss aids. We will focus more on the second option. There are 6 basic product groups:

1. appetite-suppressing the so-called appetite blockers - products based on plant active substances and algae and fruit extracts. They give you a feeling of fullness, but in excessive amounts they can cause flatulence and diarrhea.

2. fat burners - they contain caffeine or guarana, which are designed to increase thermogenesis. On the other hand, those based on chitosan, ispahul or karaya gum reduce the absorption of fats. Note - these supplements do not burn existing body fat and can be used by people who train and follow the principles of healthy eating.

3. cleansing preparations - based on diuretic plants (green tea, birch, ash, cherry stalks) They should not be used in large amounts because they remove water from the body. 4. preparations for a flat stomach - work against flatulence. They contain fiber as well as minerals and organic ingredients to get rid of this feeling.

Who are the supplements for?

Even though supplements are not drugs, they should be taken with equal responsiveness. Otherwise, the effects may be dire for your body. You can only take them while you are healthy, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Weight loss aids cannot be delivered to the body without regular training and a healthy diet. They won't work without your help. The main purpose of using dietary supplements is to supplement a properly diversified diet with nutrients. They come in the form of dragees, tablets, sachets or liquids, so they are easy to confuse with medications. They do not have healing or regenerating properties. It's all clear now. Responsibility and prudence are as always important. Remember that everything should be done in moderation.
